Pamela Anderson is celebrating her birthday while living a much simpler life. The former Baywatch babe is turning 57 and has embraced a makeup-free style.
Her choice to abandon the glam came from a heartbreaking moment in her life when her makeup artist Alexis Vogel was diagnosed with breast cancer and tragically passed away.
The loss led Pamela to decide not to replace her friend and instead chose to stop wearing makeup entirely. “I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older.
And I’m kind of laughing at myself when I look at the mirror. I go, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me? ‘ It’s a journey,” says Pam.
