Katy Perry’s Iconic Single Surges Nearly 250% In Streams

Katy Perry’s career is surging. The singer released her new single “Woman’s World” late on Thursday (July 11th).  As millions stream and buy the tune, they are also diving into her older catalog. Streams of Perry’s “Firework” surged by 249% from the previous week. Luminate reports (via Billboard) that the dance-pop smash racked up 1.8 million plays in the past tracking period.
