Simone Biles Shares Team’s Official Nickname

Simone Biles has shared what her Olympic team’s nickname is. She posted pics on Instagram and wrote, “Official team name just dropped: GOLDEN GIRLS.” This is because they are the oldest team America has had since 1952. Biles, 27, is also the oldest American woman to win an Olympic medal in the sport in 76 years. The average age for the team is 22.5.
