Reese Witherspoon has announced in a video posted to Instagram that the search is on to cast the coveted role of a high

school-aged Elle Woods for the upcoming Prime Video series “Elle,” a prequel series to ‘Legally Blonde.” She said, “We are

starting the casting process and we are making it open. This is going to be really fun!” She captioned the video, “With our

friends @primevideo we’re making the casting process totally OPEN, so you can submit your auditions at the link in my bio.

series will follow a teenage Woods “as we learn about the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we
