ESPN Hires Cam Newton as a ‘First Take’ Regular

Cam Newton is joining ESPN as a commentator on the morning show “First Take,” alongside Stephen A. Smith, Shannon Sharpe, and Chris Russo.
According to Alex Weprin of The Hollywood Reporter, the former Panthers quarterback will join ESPN’s First Take as a regular contributor.
His debut will be at Tennessee State University as part of the HBCU fall tour.
This move aligns with Newton’s ambition to build a media empire, as he already has a significant following on YouTube.
Despite not playing in the NFL since 2021, Newton has not ruled out a return but has stated that he considers his football career over.
