Meet Hazel! Hazel is a happy dachshund mix and is estimated to be around 7 years old. She is incredibly sweet and loving. Hazel loves people, balls, water hoses, snacks, belly rubs, and rolling in the grass. She has plenty of fun energy for running in the backyard but is just as happy to take up space in your big comfy bed, burrowed under the covers where she’ll hibernate for the night. Hazel has done great around kids and even cats. She prefers dogs that are her size or bigger and that are more on the calm, submissive side. Hazel is crate and house trained, walks well on a leash, is spayed and up to date on all of her vaccines. She can’t wait to find her own family and spend her days chasing balls!

Otter is a 2 year old pit mix that came to us from CMPD Animal Care and Control. Poor Otter had been previously adopted but then returned to the shelter for being a young dog that did young dog things—dogs need to be trained! Otter is a really sweet and loving boy! He is treat motivated and eager to please. He is super smart and has already mastered multiple commands and tricks. Otter is crate trained but is much happier out of it. He has passed all of the tests to be able to roam the house freely when his foster mom is at work. Otter is a big boy who is very strong so we are working hard on his leash skills. He has been nonreactive to other dogs and is happy to be around kids. He is snuggly and loves car rides! He is up to date on his vaccines and neutered. He is currently being treated for some skin allergies and a double ear infection that he came to us with so he will be available for adoption soon!
