Harris, Walz, Trump come to North Carolina again this week

In the final week before the election, Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are focusing on seven swing states, including North Carolina. Harris travels to Raleigh this week. Governor Tim Walz, the Democratic nominee for vice president, will be campaigning in Asheville and Charlotte on Wednesday, while Trump has a rally scheduled on the same day in Rocky Mount NC. Early voting numbers show high Republican participation, breaking records in swing states like Georgia and North Carolina. Trump has shifted his stance on early voting, encouraging supporters to cast ballots early. In-person early voting began on Oct. 17th and will run through Saturday, November 2nd. Election Day is Tuesday, November 5th.
