Here are our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!!

Meet Glock, a remarkable survivor with a spirit that embodies resilience. This incredible pup came into rescue after suffering unimaginable pain—he was found at a shelter with a gunshot wound that nearly stole his life. Despite the trauma, Glock underwent three intensive surgeries to remove over 100 pellets and numerous bone fragments from his shoulder. Through it all, he has shown a strength that is truly inspiring. Now fully recovered, Glock greets each day with a heartwarming smile and a tail that wags with pure joy. He radiates happiness, constantly reminding us of the beauty of second chances. Glock is fantastic with kids and gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a perfect fit for any family eager to welcome love and companionship into their lives. His only wish is to be embraced by a caring home where he can share his boundless affection. While Glock has overcome so much, he still longs for a place to call his own—a loving family that will cherish him for the rest of his days. If you’re looking for a true companion who will fill your days with love and laughter, Glock is that pup. Open your heart to his story, and consider giving him the forever home he deserves. Let’s not wait—together, we can change his life for the better. Will you be the one to give Glock the happiness he longingly awaits?

Hi there, I’m Winslow. I’m a 1-year-old medium-sized floofy boy, full of love just waiting to be shared. Despite my playful spirit, I carry with me the weight of a difficult past. My early days were overshadowed by neglect—my first owner left my collar on for far too long, and it ended up growing into my neck and had to be surgically removed. When someone tried to help, they grabbed my collar, it hurt so bad I nipped at their hand. I spent months at a shelter, surrounded by barking and confusion, desperately longing for a chance to belong. I overheard the staff discussing my fate, and in a moment of sheer panic, I realized I might not make it out alive unless a rescue came for me. Thankfully, one did, but now I find myself in a difficult situation—I’ve been here for six long months, and not a single person has come to meet me.

I’m still learning to trust, still nervous about the world around me at times, but I have started to let my true self shine through. I love this thing called a “walkie” and a fun game called “I’m gonna tickle Winslow”. The fear is fading away and there’s a goofy, playful side starting to shine through. I want to feel joy again. I’m smart and quick to learn new tricks, I like to be where humans are, I long for companionship not a kennel. I get along great with other dogs, and I’ve even been helping my rescue mom test new arrivals. I would love someone who wants to help me continue to blossom with positive training. My heart aches for a loving home, a gentle soul who will show me how beautiful life can be with humans of my own. Please, if you have a space in your heart and home, consider giving me a chance. I promise to fill your life with love and loyalty, if only you would let me in. I just want to be part of a family, to blossom with the guidance of someone who believes in me. Please don’t let me wait any longer
