Kelly Clarkson Stays in a ‘Lavender Haze’ With Taylor Swift Cover

Kelly Clarkson paid tribute to Taylor Swift on her talk show by performing a cover of Swift’s song “Lavender Haze” during her Kellyoke segment.

The song, featured on Swift’s album “Midnights,” peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart.

Swift explained that the phrase “lavender haze” was inspired by the 1950s concept of being in love and wanting to stay in that blissful state.

Clarkson effortlessly hit Swift’s high notes in the chorus, showcasing her admiration for the singer.

Clarkson will return to host the ‘Christmas In Rockefeller Center’ special on NBC.

The special will air live Dec. 4 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC and also stream on Peacock.
