Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!!!

Both of these dogs are available through Animal Control in Charlotte at the satellite location 2700 Toomey Ave.

Emily 🐶 A1235598. A sweet spayed 8 year old 50 lb Staffy mix little land seal found as a stray. Potty trained. Loves treats. Sits and waits patiently for them. Loves butt scratches. Medium size. Very easy to walk. Calm demeanor. She’s very sad in the shelter.

Blanco 🐶 A1229189 A 6 yr old 70 lb neutered white German Shepherd mix and in true GSD form, his happy place is next to a human. He is calm and loving. Easy car rider. Loves affection. No aggression. He is heartworm positive which is not contagious, but he needs a home to recover and shelter covers the cost of treatment. Please consider Blanco so he has a place to heal and live a great life.

As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….three days, three weeks, three months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
