Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!! Both of these cuties from Carolina Paws rescue. 🐶🐶

Mimi, a petite Boxer-Lab. 9 months old, 46 lbs with a heart full of love and a personality that shines brighter each day! The perfect size for snuggles, adventures, and everything in between. While she might take a moment to get to know you, once she does, Mimi becomes your loyal shadow. Mimi would enjoy having a fenced yard to explore and play in, but it’s not a requirement—what she truly wants is a family to call her own. She loves spending time with people and would be happiest in a home where someone is around often to share her day. She also enjoys the company of other dogs but would be perfectly content as the only pup soaking up all your love and attention. Mimi’s story is one of resilience—she came to our rescue after being left at a local shelter when her previous owner moved and couldn’t take her along. Despite her initial confusion, Mimi has blossomed into a loving, affectionate companion. She’s up to date on her vaccinations and waiting patiently for her forever family. If you’re looking for a sweet and loyal companion to brighten your days, Mimi might just be the one for you.

Roe is a 50 lb 10 month old Lab mix with a stunning coat. She’s playful, sweet, and loving. Roe has a big heart and a happy-go-lucky attitude that makes her a joy to be around. Roe enjoys toys, treats, her crate, Kongs, and walks. She’s crate and house trained. She has a hilarious habit of tossing tennis balls for herself to chase and loves to snuggle up on your lap like she’s a tiny lap dog! Roe has been around other dogs and does great! She doesn’t bark at other dogs on walks and is making great progress on polite leash manners. Roe would thrive in a home with a yard to explore or with regular walks to keep her active and happy. She’d do well with children aged 7+ who can match her enthusiasm and love for play. Roe is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped.

As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….three days to decompress, three weeks to learn your routine, three months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
