Rihanna did not attend the Grammys this year as she had no nominations, but her partner A$AP Rocky was nominated for Best Music Video.

A$AP Rocky skipped the awards show due to his ongoing trial, which may have been a reason for Rihanna’s absence as well.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky were neither presenters nor performers at the Grammys this year, giving them no immediate reason to attend.

Rihanna’s last appearance at the Grammys was in 2018, where she also performed.
