Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!

Both available through Animal City Haven .

Meet Waffles and Genesis, a bonded pair of pups who need a forever home. In May 2023, they were found by their late owner’s side after he unexpectedly passed away, leaving them homeless. These resilient dogs have been in foster care ever since, but now AnimalCity is helping them find a loving family.

Waffles, a 6-year-old silver pit mix, is a 70-pound snuggler who loves to lounge with his humans and big sister, Genesis. Genesis, an 8-year-old 110-pound brindle pit mix, is protective and enjoys relaxing outdoors. Together, they are loyal, affectionate, and ready to share their love with the right family.

Both are fully potty trained, great with people, and are looking for a home where they can stay together. Could you give these sweet pups the fresh start they deserve?

As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
