Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!!

Life hasn’t been fair to Kaitlin. She came into the shelter absolutely filthy, covered in fleas with missing fur and sores on her hind, often seen with dogs that are tethered or chained to one spot for a lengthy time. She gratefully allowed staff to bathe her over and over again, erasing the neglect she’s endured. Kaitlin loves a lot of things but her kennel isn’t one of them. Rightly so!
Kaitlin is heartworm positive and needs life-saving heartworm treatment. Kaitlin needs a foster home (or forever home) where she can have R&R while she undergoes treatment. Can you be her hero? Please consider opening your heart (and home) to Kaitlin to heal hers.

Meet Goldie! This two year old beauty is the perfect-sized cutie at only 42lbs and bursting with personality! In her kennel, she’s the picture of calm sweetness, but unleash her outside and it’s wiggle city with this happy-go-lucky girl! This little sunshine adores toys, zooming around, and soaking up all the love.
Goldie is…A 2-year-old gal, petite at only 42lbs. A total sweetheart with a spunky wiggle butt! A social butterfly, playing nice with other pups at the shelter! Chill in her kennel, but ready to play outside!

As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
