Post Malone Talks Coachella And New Album
Post Malone had a Poppi party prior to closing out Coachella on Sunday (April 13). The “F1 Trillion” singer revealed he was “terrified,” teasing, “They want me to do something crazy, and I’m terrified to do it,” without elaborating.
Posty says every show makes him scared. Except for maybe his 2018 Coachella debut in the Sahara tent. “I was less nervous then… I’m old. Everything hurts.”
Following his Coachella set for weekend one, Post will get back in the studio to finish his new album, which he says he’s already recorded 35 songs for.
Malone shared how the country music industry has embraced him and how he loves hanging with fellow artists Thomas Rhett, Hardy, and Earnest: “We just have fun. We just sit and f—ing talk and make songs. And so I’m pretty excited for the new record already.”
Malone admits that he hates listening back to his music but is really excited for the new music he’s creating.
“I sit there and listen to these songs, and I usually hate listening to my music, but listening to the band play, I get so excited.”
