Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week.

Oreo is a 9 month old Retriever mix. Neutered and weighs 50 lbs. Oreo is a very sweet boy who just takes time to trust. He loves to zoom, and run around the play yards entertaining himself most of the time. He walks beautifully on the leash, knows sit and takes treats gently. We recommend him to a home with no small children due to his nervousness at times.

Melody. 1 year old 56 lb terrier mix and spayed. This crazy gal is looking for an active family who can keep up with her energy! She LOVES to play with squeaky toys, zoom around the play yards and go on long walks. She does well with other dogs, and likes to play a little rowdy.

Buddy. 2 year old retriever mix. Neutered. 41 lbs. Buddy has such an easy-going and gentle spirit. He is independent, sweet, and walks well on the leash. He can be a little nervous when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. Buddy enjoys leisure walks and time sniffing around the play yards and getting head scritches! Due to his nervousness at times, we recommend him to a home with no small children.

As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
