Meet our Furry Friday Friends of the Week!!

Both available through Animal Care & Control in Charlotte.

Callahan!! A1241528 He is a neutered 11 month old 62 lb Labrador retriever mix. Dog friendly. House and crate trained. Easy to leash and walk. Fun personality. Still a puppy so doesn’t know his own size(a nice way to say clumsy at times) Maybe best with kids over the age of 10 because of this. Loves the car and treat motivated.

Blaze!! A1216637 He is a neutered 3 year old bulldog mix and 68 lbs. Potty trained and crate trained!! Complete snuggle bug. Highly trainable and eager to please. Does well with dogs after proper intros. No cats for this fella 🙂 loves the car rides! Working on leash manners.

As with any rescue or shelter dog, please follow the 3:3:3 rule. These dogs need to decompress….3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to learn your routine, 3 months to feel safe and part of your home. Give them time and patience. SLOW INTROS are always recommended for any new dog entering a new home.
